January

We went to eat at a soup and sandwich bistro in Alma.. (Jim and Gay ate there one time on their way down and gave it rave reviews) so we always eat there when we have to travel towards Ft. Smith. It has good sandwiches and all… But my favorite thing about this place is the homemade PIES!! They have a chalkboard as big as a wall, they write all of the pies that they have made on that day and you pick one. But it really doesn’t matter which one because they are all so good. It’s called the Red Rooster.

Here is Cash at the RR pulling a “Moe and Curly” move on Scott:

We had a late Christmas get together with Anne Marie and Ian at uncle Roy’s house a couple of weeks ago. Norma was flying in from somewhere so there was nobody to cook dinner so we went to La Huerta down the road.

Here is Anne Marie and their daughter Vivian:

20130117-122452.jpg

Anne wasn’t too excited about having her picture taken 🙂

And here is Ian with the 2nd cousins:

20130117-122540.jpg

Cash and V. Play well together but they live in Tulsa so we hardly ever get to see them.

Me and C-bear have gone on a couple of different mommy and Cash dates recently.

First was the library:

A couple of days later we took advantage of a rare warm day in January and went to the park:

Swinging:

20130117-123145.jpg

Then it was Momma’s turn to swing (Cash pushing me) :

After the park we went to a burger place called Curts Place just down the street:

20130117-123335.jpg

Yesterday we went to Chuck E Cheese:

And then it was off to the Springdale Youth Center for some fun time at Operation Recreation. He had so much fun!:

Whew!!!! We’ve been busy!!! 🙂

Love y’all!

Hmmm.. Lets see here..

What’s first? Lets see….

Here’s Cash in the new pjs that Lori got him for his 2nd bday:

Watching “Cars” (the movie) for the first time:

Some random pictures of my big front teeth:

20130104-144227.jpg

20130104-144236.jpg

I never had braces and I’m so glad that I didn’t. I love how my teeth are big and bucky and a little imperfect. They have character. I’ve learned to love them the same way that I am learning how to love my curly hair.

Me and Cash rocking:

20130104-144423.jpg

This next picture may disturb some of you. If so, don’t look:

Scott brought out his Papaw’s antique shotgun (completely un-loaded– he made sure about 4 times) and Cash wanted to hold it. When he placed it in Cash’s hands, he made a “pow” sound. Hence the look of pride on Scott’s face:

Mom and dad bought Cash a flying helicopter for Christmas. And, as most things go in our household, the piece that made it fly only lasted about 5 minutes before it was broken. So Scott decided to rig the helicopter up to his power drill and make it fly:

20130104-145303.jpg

And last but not least, Lola with the troublemakers…

20130105-111106.jpg

Sorry for such a lack of words.. But I’m kinda busy being strapped to my little man these days. Maybe when he is 14 I will have endless hours in the day to write and write about who knows what? But, by then, nobody will probably care anymore. Haha..

When all else fails..

Laying in the floor, learning to throw a ball straight up. Also known as wintertime inside fun..

When Scott went on a hunting trip recently, Cash and I spent a lot of our time out and about doing useless things.

Here we are at Joann’s craft store:

We like to look through all of their dollar bins and pick out stuff we don’t need:

I bought him Toy Story II at Sams while Scott was gone and we watched it a couple of different times..

We got a little tired of Buzz and Woody and decided that funky pictures of ourselves was much more fun:

Cash turned 2 years old on the 5th. Here’s what we were doing exactly two years ago on that day:

20121212-110611.jpg

20121212-110624.jpg

We celebrated his actual bday at Chuck E Cheese. Our 2nd year tradition at the fun palace:

As usually the case with most momma’s, I’m almost ALWAYS the one who takes the pictures in the family. So, I’m usually not included in our photos.. But, alas, a photo of me at Chuck E Cheese!:

20121212-111227.jpg

You see me there??

Beside Scott’s big mouth.

Above Cash’s big head.

There it is!!

My eye!!!! 😀

Lastly, a pic of Cash’s nanny reading him (and 2nd cousin Nathan) a book at her house after his bday party on Saturday.

20121212-111427.jpg

Have a good day peeps!

Pocketful of fun

We drove down to Rudy a couple of weekends ago so Scott could turn in his deer to be processed and turned into jerky.

Poor deer. 😦

On our way, we stopped at a truck stop so I could hover over one of their disgusting toilets and relieve my bladder.. While I was holding my nose and praying that nothing on my body touched anything in the bathroom.. Scott took Cash across the parking lot to show him a “big twuck!!”

You can baaaaarely see them there.. About 3/4 of the way to the end of the truck..

20121127-173703.jpg

Cash loved seeing the truck up close.

Here he is watching the kids play at chick fil a. He comes and get a bite and then runs back to the play area.

20121127-212103.jpg

Another trip to the red berry bushes:

20121127-212131.jpg

“look mom!..”

20121127-212153.jpg

This is what they look like… Is that an elderberry??

20121127-212223.jpg

Cash was fresh outta the tub and not feeling good. his only request was to lay on daddy and watch “choo choo” on the ipad..

20121127-212455.jpg

In this next picture he was helping me wrap Jax’s gift. We got him a carrier for his cars and some building plates for his duplo Legos…

20121127-212626.jpg

Cash has been sick with a cold lately. I wipe his nose at least 55 times a day. Well, I caught Cash in the act of wiping Crosby’s nose the other night. I thought it was so cute.

Crosby is to Cash what Woody is to Andy in the Toy Story movies. If Cash ever gets a newer/better teddy bear, I will expect an uproar from the toy bin in the playroom…

20121127-220212.jpg

Auntie Lola loves her little nephews.. And they love her! Here’s a picture of Cash wearing MiMi’s sunglasses and Auntie L. beaming with pride : )

20121127-225802.jpg

Cash is the peanut butter to Ella’s jelly. The sock to her shoe. The crescendo to her big finale…

20121127-225925.jpg

They stick together and play quite often..

20121127-225952.jpg

When Cash goes to see his doctor in Tontitown.. He is asked to open his mouth and say “aaaaahhh” while Dr. De Miranda shines his little flashlight down Cash’s throat.

So now, when you give Cash a flashlight, he likes to check his own tonsils…

20121127-230247.jpg

And finally, I took this picture of myself tonight.” Why are you taking some random picture of yourself smiling really big?” you might ask…

Well.. The answer to that question is very very exciting…

MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IS DONE FOR ANOTHER WHOLE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20121127-230451.jpg

As Cash would say…. “yeeeee haaaaww!!”

: )

happy fall y’all

When Cash and I go outside in the mornings, the first thing he does is go to his car door and say “momma, baby, (because he refers to himself as baby now) dagun?”

That means “momma will you open my door so I can play in your car?”

He likes to crawl around in there. In the floor boards playing with his cars. He climbs over to the front seat. Then back to the middle seats. And on occasion, back to the trunk. He will stand in the drivers seat and play like he’s driving the steering wheel. He knows which one of my keys goes in the ignition. He likes to stick it in there and listen to the car beep because the doors are open.

20121117-094640.jpg

He’s all boy…

Sometimes, we will go to the back yard and play. He likes to run his trucks and cars in his sandbox.

20121117-094840.jpg

Our back yard is extra pretty right now because of all the leaves.

20121117-094929.jpg

20121117-094940.jpg

20121117-094946.jpg

Cash will see us raking and want to do it himself..

20121117-095138.jpg

Sometimes, we sit at the kitchen table and color, play with stickers, or finger paint.

Sticker fun:

A cool worms eye view of our kitchen light:

A couple of our masterpieces in the finger paint category:

20121117-100229.jpg

20121117-100236.jpg

When I tell Cash to “come get your shoes on so we can go somewhere..”

He says one of two things:

“Mimi??”

Or

“choo choo”

Translated:

“can we go to Mimi’s house?”

Or

“can we go to Barnes and noble?”

This day, it was the latter:

20121117-100455.jpg

He likes it when other kids come up to play with him. He will immediately shove his car up in their face and scream “baby!!!!! Dagun!!!!”

And then he will go up to the parent of the child and do the same thing while screaming “momma!!!!! (or dadda!!!!) dagun!!!!!!”

The parent usually feels awkward and looks at me. I will say “Cash, that’s not momma/dadda” and we will continue to play until the next parent/child duo walks up…. And then we go back to the beginning and start all over :l

It’s a tad bit embarrassing : )

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend..

Xoxo

things..

Cash likes to be naked.

What kid doesn’t?

For some reason I always seem to strip him down while Scott is laying in the floor watching tv. This is an unfortunate situation for Scott because Cash loves to climb all over him when he’s on the floor. So, of course, Scott ends up with Cash’s twig and berries strung all over his face.

This particular night however, Cash wanted to ride his bike 🙂

20121103-185418.jpg

We were waiting in the car for Scott to work on a small part on one of our big trucks at the shop. He was taking a longer time than I told him to so I told Cash to stick his head through the sunroof and start screaming “daddy!!!”

It worked:

This is my view from my spot in bed at night. I’m a blessed gal:

I thought it was funny how they were laying in bed and they look so much alike:

Taking a tub:

20121108-194937.jpg

We went out to Williams woods last Sunday so Scott could refill his corn feeders. We had to go down the road and pick up his 4-wheeler at Mr. Russell and Mrs. Lolita’s house.. Mr. Russell came out to say “hi”:

20121108-195248.jpg

Again, me and Cash waited in the car for “daddy” to come back down the mountain so we could get out and play:

20121108-195344.jpg

It was a bee-u-tiful day. I had the sunroof open and we were seeing if we could get any of the falling leaves to land in our car.

They didn’t. But it was still pretty to look at:

This is what we were doing on election night:

I’m baaaaack! :D

Yes, it’s true. I’m back. I’ll pause now for the applause and cheering.

Did you have long enough to celebrate?

Good!

Let’s get to the good stuff:

PICTURES!!!!!:

This one was taken this summer on our driveway. We were enjoying some refreshments from Sonic while watching the cars and trucks go by on the busy road to our right:

20121026-090856.jpg

Me and Cash went on a date to the movies to see Finding Nemo (Scott was hunting or something stupid like that 🙂

You know the old saying… When the Cat’s away the mice will play… 🙂

Here’s Cash sitting next to me:

20121026-091807.jpg

And here’s the both of us. It not the greatest picture we’ve ever taken.. But there isn’t much room for error when you’re sitting in a dark theater and trying not to completely annoy the people behind you with the flash on your camera:

20121026-092049.jpg

About twice a week, we will get up.. Eat breakfast and then I will ask Cash if he wants to go for a walk. He usually pushes his lawn mower.. But this day it looks like he chose his tricycle. We walk all the way to the end of the culdesac and stop just short of a big open field where horses and donkeys graze. Separating the field from us is a TON of large red berry bushes (I’m guessing they are elderberries.. Hence the name of our street) lining a barbed wire fence. We stop and pick (and squeeze) the red berries.

20121026-113500.jpg

20121026-113512.jpg

20121026-113550.jpg

This is also usually around the time that our mail runs. Cash will pause to watch the “may may” (mailman) drive around delivering our bills and junk mail fun magazines and cool hand written letters.

“bye bye may may!!”

20121026-113726.jpg

A couple of weekends ago, we took a family trip to Branson where we visited the bass pro shop and Cash found something that he wants for Christmas:

20121026-114210.jpg

On the way home from Branson, we stopped to eat at a hole-in-the-wall cafe in Alpena, MO. Seriously, there were two girls working there. One in the kitchen.. One waiting tables. It was adorable.

Here is Cash after he chugged down his root beer in 1 minute flat!:

20121026-114429.jpg

Just look at that sugar induced smile 😀

Mimi bought the grandsons a couple of flashlights at the dollar store… Here is Cash watching tv on our bed playing with his new flashlight:

20121026-114617.jpg

20121026-114629.jpg

We went to chick fil a the other day and the kids on the playground were ALL very WILD!!

Check it!:

20121026-114756.jpg

One little girl found out that her little 60 lb. body could easily scale the fence (therefore, breaking rule #12 on the playground rules sign– I looked) and climb to the 2nd story of the slides. That prompted all of the other kids to try and do the same. Cash and I stared (and cheered– I’m not gonna lie) in amazement. 🙂

We went to Walmart (where I’m pretty sure I saw and talked to one of the Walton brothers). Cash had his eyes parked on a little red bike. So, I obliged.

Him riding his new bike before we go in and eat at Red Robin:

20121027-141354.jpg

Lori asked me the other day if Cash climbs on me at home the same way he does at Mimi and Grandads house.

Whew!… Posting a blog entry takes a long time!! Time that I’d rather be eating fun sized Halloween candy bars or putting a final glossy glaze on my toenail polish. But, I feel like when I don’t have a blog.. Nobody really knows what the Senyard family does other than Thursdays and every other Sunday. So, hopefully I will keep up with this blog better.

Love from me…
